Inventory
Every creature has an inventory tied to the system. By default everyone has 100 slots to fill with items. Living creatures can’t be put inside of an inventory. Up to 99 similar items can be placed in the same inventory slot. For example, 2 red apples can be put into the same slot but a red apple and a green apple can’t.
Parties
Creatures can team up with each other and form a party. Party members will always know the location of other party members, and they can’t willingly travel 500 feet away from each other. Party members share exp, and they can’t deal damage to each other.
Classes
All creatures have access to classes. Classes provide a handful of useful skills to any creature that meets their requirements. There are two categories of classes; universal classes and creature classes. Universal classes can be used by any sapient creature, and creature classes can only be used by members of particular species. While creatures can unlock an infinite number of classes only two can be active at a time. Every class has at least one still that can only be used if that class is active. Unlocking a class is the fastest way to learn skills since you get 8 for doing so. Currently the classes accessible to every sapient creature are: warrior, mage, cleric, berserker, guardian, rogue, summoner, wanderer, hunter, tradesman, noble, freelancer, armorer and performer.
Skills
Skills are techniques that require mana or prana to use. One can make a sandwich without the cooking skill, and it will just be a normal sandwich, but if someone with the cooking skill made a sandwich it would heal whoever ate it and potentially provide other magical effects. Passive skills don’t require the conscious use of mana or prana to benefit from.
A System Language
Every sapient creature using the system automatically gains a basic understanding of a common spoken and written language.
